You have to try this Italian food. It is so good. Get French bread and olive oil to start. The sausage and peppers over spaghetti is delicious. The fettuccini Alfredo is to die for. It's in downtown Bellmead. Like a dive but to food is outstanding

Good quality food without having to go to a fancy restaurant. Won't break the bank. Counter service style ordering and nice staff. They serve a side of bread with the pasta dish.

Pulled up at 8:15, found parking not crowded, two large black four wheel drive trucks to the right side of the door and one car to the left. We had called in our white pizza before arriving. We were not sure we had time to eat before closing but relieved as the sign said 10 pm every night.
I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and Alfredo sauce. Chicken primavera. I easily noticed the young lady waiting on us could completely care less if we were there, subtle hints which almost seemed she was mad that we were there, frequent undeniable unpleasantness which made us want to leave like the one table did while we all ordered. We considered it but our pizza was already in the oven and did not want to be rude.
Our orders arrived at our table. My Alfredo sauce was as liquid as milk. It tasted like milk. I almost asked for a straw. The veggies were frozen. The shrimp was cooked perfect. The rolls still incredible. Then our pizza arrived. It was amazing as usual. The tortellini with pink sauce was also a disappointment. Very thin with little flavor. Not what we are used too.
A cook entered from the kitchen, walked right by us to the drink machine. Filled his cup and never asked us a thing. Two people tried to enter but door locked. They left and we really thought we should be going before we were flat out asked to leave at 9:05 pm. Another couple tried to enter as the open sign was still lit. We decided to make a run for it as we were being stared down by all three workers.
At 9:14 we entered our vehicle. Only the car and black Tundra remained. The cook came to the tundra and the waitress to the car, before we left, and each got something out and returned inside.
The open sign remained lit with the door locked. Another car arrived, tries to go in, and left, unwelcome.
Not one word spoken to us by anyone unless it was about our offset, Sad that this was the level of customer service and cuisine because they do not want to serve until 10 pm. As they advertise. Sad that this location has gone so downhill since opening. Most sad that the two out of three employees would take the two closest spots to the door, denying elderly, handicap or a customer those spots.
The good thing, Mama Baris is still at the valley mills location and we highly recommend it! Hands down, best Italian food in Texas! Everything is fresh and full of flavor. We have never been disappointed at her location. -

This is our Sunday after church tradition! 3 people can eat for under $20!! The pizza by the slice is yummy, but so are the other menu items! Thanks, Baris Express, for being a place my family likes to return every week!!

This place lives up to the good reviews. Was only 0.5 from our hotel. I think it was meant to be for take out but you can eat in like we did. Food is really good!
